§ Savipal
Thapar, Founder and President
Savipal
Thapar founded Sam InfoTech in 1999 and established its headquarters in
Calgary, Alberta (Oil Capital of Canada). As a founder, he set the vision
for Sam InfoTech’s expansion through arranging strategic partnerships and
exploring innovative IT solutions to respond to customers ever changing
needs. Savipal Thapar holds Bachelors in Engineering degree in Computer
Science and engineering accredited by University of Toronto. Savipal
offers a varied background of 20 years in applications and systems software
development and support. Savipal is proud to have put together a cohesive
group of talented, cooperative, and dedicated individuals to make up Sam
InfoTech staff and its management team. Savipal says, "The original
Sam goal still remains: to be recognized for our quality consulting
services, and software application development and support. Our future
looks very bright as we continue to grow with additional products,
services, and partnerships."
§ Birinder
Thapar, Director Administration & Operations
As
Director of administration & Operations, Birinder oversees product
development, technical support and QA, marketing, documentation, pre and
post sales consulting, and the administration. Birinder has more than 10
years of experience in administration management and operations in IT
consulting industry. Prior to joining Sam Infotech, Birinder held variety
of administration and management positions in primary industry sectors.
In these positions, she had responsibility for standards and quality
assurance, documentation, configuration management, setting up policies
for operations. Birinder has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Punjab
University, Chandigarh.
